Based upon the amazing number of replies I got from my posting about "early retirement," I have decided to include that material in an ebook, to eventually lead to a book.

"If you are in your fifties and have had a long and successful career, and are in relatively good health, have you ever thought of just bagging the whole career thing and heading out in an RV or similar for a year or so?

With the economic situation we are in and buyouts and mergers running rampant, who knows if there will be a job for you much longer anyway.

The provision is that you can come back to your gig after your year on the road. This does not require selling your house and possessions. Just the freedom to roam is what you are seeking.

Am I the only one who feels this way or are there others that share this thought?"
