Recently I have been receiving phone calls from an ISP provider that is a competitor to the service that I use. The deal being offered was $12 monthly LESS than what I was paying for the same terms and service.
So I got on the phone and called my current service provider and explained my situation. Without hesitation, they matched the offer of the newcomer.
So, without having to go through the hassle of switching providers, I was able to save nearly $150 per year.
Keep in mind that I did not have to yell or scream or threaten. I just stated my case, and let my provider respond. This time things worked out great!
